History
Brightwork Boat Works has been in business for over 19 years and is the premier restoration and maintenance facility of wood boats in the midwest.  Brightwork Boat Works is proud to be an active participant in the community and sponsors the annual Mendota Boat Show held every year on Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisconsin.  Come and see the many wood boats of Madison!

We work on every kind of classic wooden boats including utilities, cruisers, runabouts, speedboats, launches just to mention a few:  Chris Craft, Century, Correct Craft, Garwood, Hacker Craft, Hinckley, Lyman, Riva, Shepherd, Thompson.  We even work on wood sailboats, canoes, kayaks, even custom work.  We work on wood boats (period)!
